Rehabilitating SCDP's national radio network.

Our current flagship engagement: a multi-site rehabilitation of the professional radio communication system operated by Société Camerounaise des Dépôts Pétroliers (SCDP) — Cameroon's national petroleum depot operator.

Restoring reliable, HSEQ-compliant radio coverage across three strategic petroleum depots.

Following a comprehensive Phase 1 audit at SCDP's Yaoundé, Bafoussam, and Douala sites, we identified critical failures in the existing two-way radio infrastructure — including uplink communication breakdowns, antenna performance degradation, and coverage gaps caused by urban topographical obstructions.

Our remediation programme includes new repeater deployment, satellite site construction, IP interconnection between sites, antenna system reconfiguration, ATEX terminal compliance, and operator training — delivered across all three petroleum depot locations.

The engagement is delivered on a fixed lump-sum basis with milestone-based payment, a 12-month performance warranty, and a ≥ 98% availability commitment over the post-acceptance period.

Audit

Site visits, technical measurements and performances, and stakeholder interviews. We document the existing state before we recommend any work.

A costed technical and financial proposal with bill of quantities, and clear acceptance criteria — reviewed with your team before any contract.

Deploy

On-site implementation with documented checkpoints. Provisional acceptance based on functional tests; final acceptance after a 30-day verification period.

12-month performance warranty included. Optional post-warranty contracts with preventive maintenance, corrective response, and remote monitoring.

Cyrille leads Yonkou & Associates' technical practice and client engagements. His expertise covers professional radio systems, RF engineering, IP networks, and the rigorous delivery standards required by petroleum, energy, and government clients.

He founded the firm in April 2024 to bring senior engineering judgment — typically reserved for international consultancies — to Central African enterprises that need it most.
